Website & Software Development in Hyderabad

Web and software development for Hyderabad businesses: restaurant and food-brand sites, pharma and healthcare content, IT company websites and AI tools.

3 min read

Hyderabad's business mix is unusually wide. There's the IT corridor around HITEC City, a pharma and life-sciences cluster built around Genome Valley, a startup scene anchored by T-Hub, and a food culture that turns local restaurants into brands. Each of those needs a different kind of website, so here's how I approach each one.

Restaurants, cloud kitchens and food brands

A restaurant's website competes with the aggregators. Its job is to win the customers who already know you: direct orders without the aggregator commission, table bookings, catering and bulk orders, and a menu people can actually read on a phone.

  • A fast, readable menu. Real text, not a PDF or photo, so Google can index dishes and customers can search "dum biryani near me" and find you.
  • Direct ordering, or a clear route to it, plus catering and party-order enquiries. These are often a restaurant's highest-margin orders, and they never go through an app.
  • Google Business Profile, photos and reviews, which matter more than the website for "near me" searches.

Punjabi Chaap Corner is one of the food business sites I've built.

Pharma, healthcare and life sciences

These sites carry more responsibility. Product and treatment information has to be accurate, approved and kept up to date, and claims need care. What I focus on:

  • Structured product and therapy pages your regulatory team can review and update without a developer.
  • Separate audiences: patients, healthcare professionals, distributors and job seekers each get their own path, rather than one page trying to serve all of them.
  • Distributor and enquiry portals for B2B pharma, where orders and documentation flow between you and your channel.

IT services companies and startups

An IT firm's website is judged by buyers who know what a good site looks like. It needs to be fast and server-rendered, have case studies with real outcomes, and be easy to update with new work. For product startups, see my Bengaluru guide to MVPs and SaaS. The approach is the same in Hyderabad.

AI tools I build for businesses

Hyderabad is one of India's centres for AI work, and the useful applications for most businesses are practical rather than flashy:

  • Document and enquiry assistants that read incoming emails, orders or RFQs and draft responses from your own data.
  • Internal knowledge search over SOPs, product documentation and policies, so staff get answers in seconds instead of hunting through folders.
  • Chat assistants with memory. I built JARVIS AI with Google Gemini and a Pinecone vector store so conversations keep context across sessions.

Under the hood these use retrieval over your own documents, so answers stay grounded in your information, with a human handoff when the assistant isn't sure.

Working together

I'm based in Lucknow and work with Hyderabad clients remotely, as a fixed-scope project or ongoing development. You get the repository, hosting access and documentation, so there's no lock-in.

Questions Hyderabad businesses ask

Can my restaurant take orders directly instead of through aggregators?

Yes, with online ordering and payment on your own site, connected to your kitchen workflow. Many restaurants use direct ordering for repeat and bulk customers and keep the aggregators for discovery.

Can you build AI features on our own documents?

Yes. The assistant answers from your documents, can point to where each answer came from, and says when it doesn't know.

Which tech stack do you use?

Next.js, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL or MongoDB, deployed on Vercel or AWS, and WordPress or WooCommerce where a content-managed site is the better fit. More on the MERN & Next.js page.

Guides for other cities are in the India guide. Planning a build in Hyderabad? Let's talk.
